Abdul Hamid

Shaikh Abdool Hamid graduated from the Islamic University of Madina Munawwarah; and specialized in Hadith Studies. He is currently a resident scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto where he has taught several courses in Arabic Language, Hadith and Seerah. He serves as an Islamic Counsellor with the Islamic Social Services and Resource Association (Toronto) and is a regular khateeb and lecturer at several prominent mosques in and around Toronto.

Before Allah commissioned Muhammad (pbuh) as a prophet he was known by his people as honest and trustworthy. The people of Mecca never experienced a single lie from Muhammad (pbuh) and they trusted him totally yet when the prophet told them he was a Messenger of Allah they rejected him.

His reputation for fulfilling his trusts was so strong that even during his persecution in Mecca his enemies still left their valuables with him. And as a prophet he never went against the law of Allah.
